Get Paid For Creative Writing

get paid for creative writing
Creativ writing teachers making me write about mail order brides. . .but I need your help/opinion?

But since it is Creative Writing, and he tells us that we just use mail order bride as a guideline I’ve decided to write something more along the lines of human trafficking.

I originally wanted to do this.

In order for a mother from Macedonia to pay debt, she hands over her son.

Since I have to keep the idea of mail order bride-groom in this case I decided that he would be sold to other men, like a prositute except without the whole willing part.He would possibly get a visa to usa.

But then I realized storyline to the movie “Human Trafficking” is just way too similar to my idea although my ideas was thought up from my imgination.

What should I do?
Write what I imagined, or change the story around a bit more?
I left the e out of creative……crap.
the mother is a drug addict

What’s more realistic would be for a woman to come over here in hopes to marry a nice guy, only for the guy to turn around and pimp her out or work for him for free to “pay off her debt” for him paying for her to come over here (illegally.)
Do some research on the subject and then let your imagination take a turn to make it creative–even though it’s supposed to be creative, most fiction is loosely based of non-fiction events. The best creative writing is done off of what you know.. . . and chances are, you don’t know what would make a woman give up her son to pay off a debt (I’d rather die before doing that, personally), and you don’t know how realistic that would be. So, do some research first and then try to put some twists and plot thickeners to it.
