Writing A Recipe Book

I’m currently writing vegetarian recipe Books – what sort of recipes would you like to see?
There will be a series of cookbooks and all recipes will be tried and tested before I print or Publish them. You can also send me your favourite recipes if you like
Here’s what I DON’T want to see: recipes with unfermented soy, or too many recipes with beans (a few recipes are okay, but I need to keep my intestines and digestive system calm most of the time).
Give me the recipes with a full range of vegetarian proteins, so I make sure to get a variety of nutrients and my creativity is inspired. Write different recipes for each: eggs, cheese, quinoa, mushrooms, seeds, nuts, coconut, fresh beans (green beans/peas/sugar snap peas/mung beans), nuts of all different types, tempeh and seitan.

Cooking With Spirit $9.6 This is more than a cookbook, it is more than a labor of love…it is a prayer for humanity. When I first started writing these recipes down almost eight years ago, I had no idea they were going to turn into a cookbook. I just wanted to remember some of the ideas for incredible meals that were popping into my head. After I had written down about 30-40 of them, I started directing my energy into assembling them into a cookbook. At this point I decided to do something different. I chose one ingredient from each recipe and researched history, legends, festivals and how each of these foods benefits the body. I discovered halfway through a mountain of research, THAT WE ARE UNITED BY VIRTUE OF OUR TASTE BUDS! You will see as you go through Cooking with Spirit, countries from all over the world, many from ancient cultures, have produced and developed the foods you see on your table every day.If you never make one recipe from this book it is still a wonderful source of information, and if I do say so myself, a cozy book as well as funny. I love to laugh, a fact that is obvious as you sit down with a cup of tea, to scrutinize these pages. The bottom line is this…food is a gift. We need to be celebrating at least one meal each day. We need to give thanks, share a meal and sit down to talk to each other. Good conversation and wonderful food, wrapped in love and laughter, could go a long way toward healing the wounds of this planet.Every day we have choices. We can choose to love or we can choose to hate. Wouldn’t it be terrific if we could turn weapons (words or otherwise) into hugs? Anger and hatred into love? All we need to do is take the smallest baby step toward love. Invite someone to eat a meal with you. Cook something from the cookbook that sounds delicious and fun. Why not have someone cook with you? You can learn a lot about people when you cook together. There you have it. The basic reason for putting all these recipes and information together is |

Fondling Your Muse $0.99 A note from the author: “Writing is a solitary and often scary enterprise. I alone have heard your silent screams, so I have written this book to help you achieve what everyone who has the courage to live the creative life deserves: complete, utter, slavish adoration and worship. Also: incalculable wealth that insulates you from the concerns of ordinary people.” And there you have it. Fondling Your Muse is John Warner’s innovative and slightly insane book of instruction for those who want to write, and those who think they already can. It’s packed with quirky (possibly deranged) advice guaranteed to make you laugh out loud in the most embarrassing fashion possible. You know what we mean. It also includes a special chapter entitled “Everything Stephen King Knows About Writing Successfully: Plus Some Things I Know That He Doesn’t Because He Isn’t That Special.” No other book currently available has this chapter! And Fondling Your Muse provides the kind of wise, insightful guidance that’s missing from all of those self-serious, mind-numbingly awful books that promise riches and fame by writing only 20 minutes a day. Let’s say you’re looking for a tried-and-true recipe for literary success. Warner reveals all of the best ones, including these succulent concoctions: * Contemporary Romance Quiche al la Nicholas Sparks (“Tasty with a side of hackneyed potatoes.”) * Tom Clancy Techno-Thriller Surprise (“Preparation is usually subcontracted to others.”) * Chick-Lit Cacciatore (“Satisfies many, every single time. I can’t explain how either.”) * Harlequin Romance Salad (“Thoroughly rip bodices, pound prose until purple, and combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.”) * John Grisham’s Legal Thriller Stew (“Boil in pot until ingredients bubble over line of believability.”) * Comtemporary American Literary Fiction Flambé (“Served in smaller and smaller quantities as the years go by.”) Mmmm…tasty. Even really famous people |
