What would be a good graphic novel by Marvel to begin?
I've read a lot of graphic novels for DC (Batman and JLA), but I wonder why you should start with when I start reading Marvel soon. And no matter if it's X-Men, Avengers, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four or any other heroes.
Personally, I think the whole Punisher by Garth Ennis is the cream of the crop. BUT, if you are in the more team oriented things I cehck the Avengers Disassembled, then go into the material of the Civil War. Bendis is great. The Wolverine: Origin story was pretty impressive too. Ultimate lines are very good too, especially for a rookie. to "engage" the origins of many of the characters long time in an updated format. The UIltimates (Avengers) Ultimate Spider-Man, X-Men, etc.
